The Mat‑Su Valley faces a significant shortage of transitional housing for women, particularly those exiting incarceration. Many women encounter barriers such as limited income, lack of rental history, and stigma related to their criminal background. Existing sober living homes often have long waitlists, limited structure, or mixed‑gender environments that are not appropriate for justice‑involved women. Our Haven Of Hope House provides structured housing for up to eight women returning to the community after incarceration. We focus on stability and empowerment to promote successful reentry and lasting change.
